A Titanium Marvel with Unparalleled Legibility
Encased in a 41mm Grade 5 titanium case and bracelet, the TYPE 7 is lightweight and durable. At 14mm thick, it remains sleek while providing exceptional strength. Ressence’s signature oil-filled dial ensures outstanding legibility, creating an illusion of time projected directly onto the sapphire crystal—an effect that makes reading the time effortless in any lighting condition.
Two Editions
The TYPE 7 debuts in two distinct versions:
- TYPE 7 Night Blue – Featuring a deep, elegant hue complemented by a robust ceramic bezel for a refined yet sporty aesthetic.
- TYPE 7 XV Aquamarine – A limited-edition release celebrating Ressence’s 15th anniversary, distinguished by its vibrant aluminium bezel. Limited to just 80 pieces, this model will only be available in 2025.
A GMT for the Modern Traveler
For globetrotters and business professionals, the TYPE 7 introduces an intuitive GMT function. The second time zone indicator is seamlessly integrated into the dial, allowing users to track time across continents with ease. This feature enhances the practicality of the watch without compromising its signature minimalist design.
Innovative Engineering: The ROCS 7 System
At the heart of the TYPE 7 lies Ressence’s patented ROCS 7 (Ressence Orbital Convex System). Unlike conventional movements, the ROCS 7 module eliminates traditional hands and a crown, instead utilizing a revolutionary magnetic transmission system. This ingenious mechanism separates the oil-filled time display from the base movement, using micro-magnets to transmit time indications across a Grade 5 titanium membrane. The result? A seamless and mesmerizing display where time appears to float in motion. Powering the TYPE 7 is a customized automatic ETA calibre with a 36-hour power reserve.
The Ressence Compression Lock System (RCLS)
Enhancing both functionality and durability, the Ressence Compression Lock System (RCLS) ensures water resistance of at least 50 meters (5 ATM). This innovative case-back mechanism locks and compresses the gasket with two simple positions—‘lock’ and ‘set’—offering a secure and intuitive method of operation.
Integrated Titanium Bracelet for Ultimate Comfort
For the first time, Ressence has introduced an integrated Grade 5 titanium bracelet, further elevating the TYPE 7’s refined sport-chic aesthetic. The bracelet features an ergonomic deployant clasp with five adjustable positions, ensuring a perfect fit for any wrist.
