Vacheron Constantin, the luxury Swiss watchmaking Maison with nearly 270 years of expertise, just opened its first boutique in Munich, right in the heart of the city’s luxury district on Maximilianstrasse. I attended the opening event, and here is my photo report.
Located at Maximilianstrasse 27, the new Vacheron Constantin boutique welcomes its clients with a refined interior that combines modern elegance with Vacheron Constantin’s distinctive design concept. I really like the design of the boutique. It’s vibrant, unique, welcoming, and far from boring.
Moreover, there is an in-house watchmaker on-site if you need to fix something on your watch. The boutique also offers a broad range of exclusive services, including the personalization of straps.
Guests are invited to discover the Maison’s collections: Patrimony, Traditionnelle, Historiques, Overseas, Fiftysix, and Égérie – featuring a range of mid to high complications, including boutique-exclusive models. During my visit, I had the chance to try many of my favorite watches from the Maison, which are usually difficult to find and see in one place. These included the stunning boutique-exclusive Historiques 222 in yellow gold, the very charming chronograph in pink gold – Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955, and the Historiques American 1921.
For sportier options, the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-thin Skeleton in pink gold was available (probably the most beautiful Overseas ever made, in my opinion), along with the Overseas Tourbillon Skeleton in pink gold.
To celebrate the boutique’s opening, Vacheron Constantin commissioned Munich-based artist Ruben Benjamin, who created artworks named “From Past to Present” exclusively for the Munich boutique. This partnership focuses on the Savoir-Faire and the process hidden in the pursuit of perfection through a play of materials, shapes, and colors.
And in the end, a few more random snapshots from the great evening with Vacheron.
