Panerai unveils updated Luminor Marina at Watches & Wonders 2025

Panerai Laminar Marina new generation 2025

Panerai has introduced a new series of Luminor Marina timepieces at Watches & Wonders 2025, maintaining the core identity of the model while introducing technical updates. The watches are available in titanium and steel, keeping the signature crown lock system and sandwich dial construction. The dial now features an enlarged beveled date display and rhodium small seconds, with Super-LumiNova X2 for improved low-light readability.

The collection is powered by the new P.980 calibre, an automatic movement with a three-day power reserve. It includes a traversing balance bridge for added stability, a stop-second function for precise setting, and has been tested in six positions for accuracy. The case thickness has been reduced by 12%, and weight by 15%, improving wearability. Another notable upgrade is the increased water resistance to 50 BAR (~500 meters), tested beyond its rating to ensure durability. Panerai has also introduced the PAM Click™ release system for tool-free strap and buckle changes.

Luminor Marina Titanio PAM003325

This 44mm model features a brushed Grade 5 titanium case, making it strong yet lightweight—44% lighter than steel. Titanium has been a part of Panerai’s lineup since the 1980s, chosen for its resistance to corrosion. The olive-green sun-brushed dial and matching straps—one in scamosciato calf and another in rubber—tie back to Panerai’s military heritage.

Luminor Marina Steel Series

The steel models use AISI 316LVM – 1.4441 stainless steel, a vacuum arc remelted alloy for improved corrosion resistance. The PAM03323 introduces a V-shaped bracelet with a mix of brushed and polished finishes. The bracelet features a quick-adjust system, allowing on-the-go size changes of 2mm on each side. The dial is light blue sun-brushed, a first for Panerai.

Other models in the steel lineup include PAM03312 (black dial, black alligator strap), PAM03313 (blue sun-brushed dial, blue alligator strap), and PAM03314 (white dial, black alligator strap). Each comes with an additional rubber strap, all using the PAM Click Release System™ for easy switching.

The 2025 Luminor Marina updates focus on improving functionality, durability, and versatility while keeping the recognizable Panerai design intact.
